Who would have thought the day would arrive here in Australia when parents of school children would be forced to call on the Federal and State Governments and Education Departments demanding them to defund and ban a program that exposes their children to sexually explicit adult content and concepts? Under the guise of “Anti-bullying” the program promotes pre-adulthood sexual behaviors and multiple-sexual partners as normal and even aspirational. The Word of God is Living and Powerful
How about this for a warning from a well-known, highly respected Melbourne journalist: “CHRISTIANS, prepare for persecution. Open your eyes and choose stronger leaders for the dark days.” That’s the language of a Christian man with a prophetic ministry. But in this case it’s not so, for he says, “I am not a Christian, but I am amazed that your bishops and ministers are not warning you of what is already breaking over your heads.” Perhaps there are some bishops and ministers who are warning their people around Australia, but not according to his knowledge, or mine, for that matter. The Protestant Antichrist
One doesn’t have to search the Internet too deeply to study people’s viewpoints regarding the Antichrist, whether they’re biblical or non-biblical. From Popes to Presidents, Princes to Politicians, there’s enough to keep one occupied for years should that be one’s desire. However, much less is said about the spirit of Antichrist….. now already in the world 1 John 4:3. One of the evidences we are living in the last hour has to do not so much with the forthcoming Antichrist, but that many antichrists have come already 1 John 2:18. Take a Long Hard Look
I see the World Communion of Reformed Churches is the latest “Protestant” organization to collaborate with the Roman Catholic Church. Until recently, the biblical Doctrine of Justification kept them separated, but no more it seems. The Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity says, “One of the crucial issues of dissent between the Reformers and the authorities of the Catholic Church in the sixteenth century is thus being diffused and overcome, making further growth in spiritual and ecclesial communion between the Protestant and Catholic Churches possible.” Continue reading “Take a Long Hard Look”
So Guess who’s Really Ruled by Fear?
As I understand it, fear rules the lives of many Christians throughout the Western world just as effectively as it does the lives of unbelievers. But the question is, why? How can this be when the Scripture tells us, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind 2 Timothy 1:7 ? I can think of one reason – a lack of spiritual maturity perhaps. And if so, then those relatively new in the Lord Jesus can be excused, but how about the rest of us? Illegitimate Guilt
I asked the Jehovah’s Witness man at my door, “How do you handle guilt?” Clearly taken aback with the question, he replied, “I don’t have any guilt?” I said, “Yes you do. Everyone has guilt; you’re no exception. What do you do with your guilt?” Religious or not, I like to ask people that question; it’s the perfect opportunity to share with them what I’ve done with mine. “It’s on the cross of Jesus!” Following that declaration, I share the gospel of Christ with them. No Fear of God
Whether they’re Christians or not, ask most mature-minded people to give you reasons for the deteriorating state of human attitudes and behavior in society today and you will be given a variety of them. They’ll be correct too for a large part, but it will be a rare one who tells you it’s because, There is no fear of God before his/their eyes Psalm 36:1; Romans 3:18. Whatever reasons you’re given, that’s the primary one; no fear of God. What causes a person to rape and murder another person? No fear of God. He believes he’s God’s Right-hand Man!
Reading about past Superintendents of a well-known Protestant denomination in another country recently, the writer described three men, each one in turn as: ‘Lifelong pedophile and homosexual’ ‘Serial adulterer’ and ‘Pedophile’. Combined, these men held the Superintendent’s position for a total of 37½ years! The writer’s post has been up for about 2½ years; he names the men, their photographs are printed, there’s no mention of a denial from the present Superintendent, so it would appear that what he’s written about these men is true. Get Away from Religious Impostors
Question: What is it churches endorsing same-sex marriage, transgenderism and interfaith have in common? Answer: they are all walking a road they believe takes them to heaven, but the reality is it takes them to hell. It matters not the number of arrow-pointed signs marked “Heaven” on that road, hell is where they’re headed and most of them will get there. Yes, the leaders know the command and promise from Jesus, Enter by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it Matthew 7:13. Fear-filled Appeasers
“Each one hopes that if he feeds the crocodile enough, the crocodile will eat him last. All of them hope that the storm will pass before their turn comes to be devoured.” – Winston Churchill. It was fear-filled appeasers of Hitler and Nazism he was referring to, but how accurately this fits fear-filled appeasers of Islam today, “the religion of peace.” Leaders in governments, politics, media, education, business, civil & community services, legal and judicial services, and worst of all, the mainstream church – just about all of them fear-filled appeasers, desperately hoping the storm will pass.
