A question thinking people ask at some point in their life: “Why do people hate the Jews?” A disciplined study of both Testaments of the Bible reveals the only meaningful answer. 1) God revealed Himself to the world through the Jews. 2) The Jews are the chosen people of God. 3) God gave us the Scriptures through the Jews. 4) Through the Jews God gave the world the Messiah, Jesus Christ. 5) God has promised to save a remnant of Jews who will one day rule the world with their Messiah. These are the primary reasons for people to hate the Jews; other reasons (of which there are many to be found on the Internet), are secondary reasons.
Too, the Bible reveals the source of the hatred is demonic, put within people by God’s adversary, Satan the devil. In other words, people who hate the Jews are either demon possessed or demon oppressed – or both. This also explains why people despise Bible-only Christians. 1) God reveals Himself to the world through us too. 2) We are the chosen people of God too. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you……..If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you John 15:16, 19.
Not only are we a chosen people, but Christ chose us in Him before the foundation of the world Ephesians 1:4; 2 Thessalonians 2:13. Although you could never get them to admit it, people who despise Bible-only Christians are extremely envious and jealous of us. The Scriptures cited above, plus the one following explain why this is so: But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light 1 Peter 2:9. Satan is the source of all spiritual darkness, which includes envy and jealousy! 3) As well as the Jews, Bible-only Christians will also one day rule the world with Jesus Christ, their Savior and Lord.
People hate Jews and Bible-only Christians because the world view and value system we have embraced is taken from God’s Universal Absolutes, the Ten Commandments. It is in the Commandments that we see clear evidence for right and wrong thinking and behaviors but no evidence for anything based on a belief that says, “All truth is relative.” God’s Ten Commandments show us it is God alone who determines what is right and wrong, not the culture, not the government, not the times and not the seasons. God’s Commandments show us what is true for one is true for all and, what is morally unacceptable for one is morally unacceptable for all. To think, believe and act otherwise is like trying to reverse the Universal Laws of gravity and physics.
Jew and Bible-only Christian haters despise those Ten Commandments for no other reason but that they see themselves in them – God haters, idolaters, blasphemers, dishonorable, murderers, adulterers, thieves, liars and covetous. What other reasons can be found for people willing to side with darkness over light, evil over good, death over life, wrong over right, lies over truth and immorality over morality? What other explanation is there for a people so collectively hell-bent on ridding the world of the only standards ever to have made life workable for anybody for the past three and a half thousand years? Don’t believe them when they tell you, “Religion has no place in today’s modern world.” This has nothing to do with religion!
The Ten Commandments were not given to make us “religious,” they were given to make our lives work! In one sense they are no different than road rules for road users. Just as the latter were given to help avoid harm, injury and death, so too, were the former given. How dumb does one have to be to not see the truth of this? Were there to be anything better than the Ten Commandments to guide us through life you can be assured God Almighty would have come up with it long before today’s so-called clever crowd. To base your world view and value system on anything other than the Ten Commandments is a recipe for disaster. Ask yourself, thinking person. What has Atheism, Humanism, or any other ism done to give you a better world?
“Your world view and value system is so yesterday,” they say. “You self-righteous Jews and Christian Right-wing religious extremists are so far removed from today’s real world – so restrictive and narrow,”they say. No, not true. By making such accusations they demonstrate that they are restrictive and narrow. Why? They have limited themselves to human thinking, whereas we have expanded ourselves to Divine thinking. What a grand difference! Even people who care little for God live more productively and efficiently under His standards than people who do not; evidence of this truth can be found most certainly among people from generations prior to this one. That’s why they’re so shocked at what’s accepted as normal by today’s so-called clever crowd.
People hate Jews and Bible-only Christians because intuitively they know there is such a thing as truth. They say truth is unknowable and those who claim it is knowable are fools, bigots and liars. But those labels don’t fit us, they fit them. We know they know there is truth because God has revealed it to them. That’s why they will be without excuse on the Day they stand before Him for Judgment. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse Romans 1:20. The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the peoples see His glory Psalm 97:6.
People hate Jews and Bible-only Christians because our world view and value system places onus for wrong thinking and doing squarely upon the shoulders of the wrong thinker and doer. Not so for them. They place onus on anyone and anything but such a person. That is why they’re so adept at externalizing and inept at internalizing. Pointing the finger, playing the blame game; that’s their deal. “Responsibility” “liability” “culpability” “accountability” “fault” “guilt” – all belong to someone or something else, but never to them. So effective and powerful has this demonic strategy become in the hands of these people, even Nations founded on Judeo-Christian values have fallen for it!
Speaking of Nations, a TV journalist asked a retired military officer why he thought the war on terror was not winnable. “Lack of resolve,” was his answer. I was reminded of Sir Winston Churchill’s comment, made in 1936, regarding the reluctance of Great Britain and other Western European countries to understand and fully recognize the threat posed by Adolf Hitler and his Nazis, “And so they go on in strange paradox, decided only to be undecided, resolved to be irresolute, adamant for drift, solid for fluidity, all-powerful to be impotent.” There it is … nation, group or individual, the result is the same; the moment we allow our world view and value system to shift from God’s Universal Absolutes we can no longer expect support from God.
People who hate Jews and Bible-only Christians believe their world view and value system to be superior to any other. However, a cursory glance by thinking people tells them this is a lie. Rampant worldwide fear, anxiety, depression, suicide, murder, terror, sickness and disease are the reality. Neither God or the Jews or Bible-only Christians can be blamed for that! Nevertheless, in real terms, this false belief causes multitudes of them to think themselves as superior people – the elite. That’s why so many of them are condescending, supercilious, haughty, snobbish, pompous and arrogant. Too, that’s why so many of them are manipulative, emotional, militant bullies. 2 Timothy 3:1-4 fits their nature and character perfectly.
Important note: Whilst holding a world view and value system taken from God’s Universal Absolutes makes everything most workable in this life, it is not enough to qualify anyone for Eternal Life. For that, we need Jesus Christ, the Savior. In the final analysis, how we live is one thing, how we die is another. Sadly, most people die the way they lived – in their sins! You don’t have to die that way! What can wash away your sins? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus. What can make you whole again? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus. “For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord GOD. “Therefore turn and live!” Ezekiel 18:32. Without shedding of blood there is no remission (forgiveness) Hebrews 9:22.
The Churchill quote is priceless. This is the first time I’ve seen it.
Thanks.
Yes, Lynn … Sad that there is no Winston Churchill in the world today. There’ll be none tomorrow either!
