Pope Francis was recently reported as saying there is no hell. It’s a bogus, or “fake news” report as far as I can tell. However, it’s out there now and that is all most people need to confirm their own thoughts about the matter. Like all bogus reporting, the damage is done. Coupled with his statement in 2013 that atheists will make it to heaven, which is not a bogus report (as far as I can tell), multitudes of people are well and truly primed to receive this latest statement; this is exactly what they want to hear. Do not prophesy to us right things; speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits the prophet was told Isaiah 30:10.
Fake news is nothing new; the first man and women teach us that. God gave them good news in the Garden, but it didn’t take long for them to swap that for fake news. From the moment they were deceived into believing you too will be like God Genesis 3:5, they were hooked. For the discerning person questioning why it is that people embrace what they want to hear and not what they need to hear, here’s the answer. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me Psalm 51:5. In other words, like King David, the writer of the Psalm, we were born that way. Human nature possess an enormous capacity to believe what it wants to believe; all it needs is a little prompting from the Garden’s serpent and it is hooked in no time!
How typical it is of the Garden’s serpent to come up with the term “Fake News.” It has a far greater appeal for human nature than “False News” or “Lying News” or “Propaganda News” yet it’s the same deal; it’s all of those things, but not readily thought of as such. “There might be some truth in this,” mulls the reader, or listener, and if it confirms what he, she or they already believe or want to believe, then they’ll embrace it and spread it. The globalist elite know this; they’ve been applying this hell-birthed, manipulating strategy since time immemorial. It was not originated by the Nazi Goebbels or the Communist Alinsky; they were merely pawns in the serpent’s game – extremely effective pawns, yes, but still only pawns!
How the Garden’s serpent loves today’s Internet and “Social” Media! They’re not his inventions but he’s using them to the fullest for his own perverted ends. What are those ends? To drag as many as he can down to his own base level! Where’s the proof of that? someone asks. Spend a few moments reading comments from people opposed to the God-given Judeo/Christian values perspective. One will experience human nature at its basest there – not simply disagreement, but disagreement with vitriolic put-downs, insults, ridicule and abuses! For those not connected to the Internet and “Social” Media, observe the emotional behaviors of the same on Leftist television (is there any other kind?) talk programs.
Christians are called to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:10-11. There are multitudinous reasons why we should take seriously that call, not the least of them being fake news propagated by our fellow Christians. I heard a couple this week talking about the Pope’s supposed “no hell” comment and although they believe hell is a place of the real, they also believed the report to be real. There’s no greater goal or joy for the Garden’s serpent than to have Christ’s own people heralding his bogus reports. One of his primary and successful bogus reports, or wiles, has always been that of date-setting the return of Jesus Christ.
Most Christians, as well as the Garden’s serpent, are fully aware of Jesus’ word on this matter. But of that day and hour no one knows, no, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only Matthew 24:36. The former have been reading it and listening to sermons on it since they were knee-high to a grasshopper, yet vast numbers of them flock to the Internet’s You Tube frequently to see who’s the latest one proclaiming “a word from the Lord” regarding the return of Jesus. And if they’re convinced by what they hear they will “Share” it on “Social” Media. The result? Simply more fake news, added to what’s already out there. Certainly, Jesus return is imminent and He told us to watch for it by reading the signs of the times, but that is all.
The Garden’s serpent has his share of fake news reporters in church pulpits too. We know them better as false preachers and teachers. This is the crowd hell-bent on turning the good news of the gospel of Christ into fake news. Take Al Gore’s doctrine of man-made climate change for example. Based on what we know from the Scriptures, Gore is promoting a lie from hell. Perhaps he doesn’t know that but there is no excuse for someone claiming to be a minister of God not to know it. God Almighty makes it more than clear from the Scriptures that He is in control of the climate; just like He makes it known that He’s in control of everything else – every minute detail in fact. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered Matthew 10:30.
How about those pulpit devils who pushed for Christians to accept the Cultural Marxist “doctrine” of same-sex marriage? Once again, prompted by the Garden’s serpent they turned the good news of God on marriage into fake news by rejecting His final word on the matter. Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh Genesis 2:24, confirmed by Jesus in Matthew 19:5, and confirmed again by Paul the apostle in Ephesians 5:31. Note: It is enough for us to rest a matter when God speaks on it once. When He speaks on it 3 times, we know we’re listening to a rebel, regardless of the title he or she has before their name and the number of letters after it!
It is the intention of the Garden’s serpent to deceive as many people as possible in the time he has left before the Lord’s return. But his primary focus is always on Jews and Christians; it always has been. He’s been deceiving and killing Jews since their days of slavery in Egypt and he’s been doing the same to Christians since the time of Christ. For anyone puzzled as to why there’s so much persecution, torturing, slaughtering, plus all the fake news spewed forth to cover up such atrocities towards Jews and Christians, that is the reason why. Since he lost his heavenly position in heaven as one of God’s chief angels, Lucifer, he has never ceased from “getting back at God.” Why did he lose that glorious position? He allowed his pride to get the better of him!
How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;……. I will be like the Most High’ Isaiah 14:12-14. All human arrogance, pride and godless self-will stems from him, now commonly known as Satan (Adversary), the Garden’s serpent; once also the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty…….. in Eden, the garden of God Ezekiel 28:12-13. How the mighty have fallen, we say. So does God! And the mighty will continue to fall in Jesus’ name and in Jesus’ time. Some set to fall in the not too distant future are world-wide house-hold names.
That’s right! Well-known and unknown Globalist Elites, present and former Politicians, Big Bankers, Corporate Business Leaders, Media Moguls, Church Leaders – Jesus knows them all and He has them earmarked for a day of reckoning, and I’m not referring the Great White Throne day; that comes 1000 years after the Lord’s earthly return. Fake news perpetrators such as these are the scourge of the earth; that’s why God will expose them, we need not doubt it. He’s done it in former days and He’ll do it in future days. Granted, it does appear that God has turned a blind eye to what is going on but that’s all it is, an appearance; the Garden’s serpent knows the truth of this, that’s why he’s working overtime to take as many down as he can.
The Garden’s serpent is God’s serpent! We must know this as God’s people and not allow ourselves to be duped into believing otherwise. He can do nothing or say nothing unless God permits him to. But we will be duped if we swap God’s good news for his fake news. Once duped, we’ll become useless to God and useless to those most in need. Fake news doesn’t hold its appeal for everybody; they’re sick and tired of it but at the same time, they believe the way it is, is the way it is, and so they simply turn off. Jesus didn’t come into the world to die for that; neither did He rise again 3 days later for that! That’s not life, that’s existence; Jesus has the life they’re looking for. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly John 10:10.
