God bless every person young and old who by faith opens their mouth to proclaim the Lord Jesus Christ and His gospel message of salvation. Especially may God bless you who thinks your efforts have no great impact on those spoken to. God will honor your efforts regardless of such thoughts, which are a lie from the devil in any case. God would never place those thoughts in your mind; God encourages, Satan discourages! Too, God empowers, Satan disempowers. And when it is people who pull you down, remember they are an echo, you are a Voice – a Voice for God.
Believe it, enemies of Jesus Christ and the gospel are echoes and the world is full of them. Whether they’re secular humanists, atheists, Communists, Socialists, Cultural Marxists, religionists, echoes are what they are, not Voices. Echoes rarely speak from facts; they speak mainly from misguided emotions and opinions. ‘Opinion’: ‘a belief based on grounds short of proof.’ Or: ‘a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty.’ Defending man’s “gospel” of reincarnation and rejecting Christ’s gospel of resurrection, someone recently told me, “I echo the voice of……..” For those who say of Bible Christians, “You too are merely echoes,” not true. But we have the mind of Christ 1 Corinthians 2:16. Just as God said to Moses, He says to us, I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say Exodus 4:12.
No, we are not the Voice for God, we are a Voice. But the more we yield to God through our experiential knowledge of and obedience to the Scriptures of God, the more spiritually powerful and authoritative we are. Echoes hate such Voices; they despise them! Why so? The word of God we proclaim cuts across their opinions, their thoughts, their will, their beliefs, their practices, their hopes, their wishes, their dreams, their fantasies, their desires and their ambitions. That is the primary reason for their criticism, antagonism, resentment, bitterness and anger towards us. Don’t for a moment think they don’t know we speak truth when we proclaim the gospel to them. If it were otherwise, we would not be on the receiving end of their vitriol!
Proof that these people are echoes is given by the expression of non-original wording used to criticize us, which means their thoughts are equally non-original: ‘indoctrinated’ ‘gullible’ ‘fundamentalist’ ‘judgmental’ ‘self-righteous’ ‘intolerant’ ‘hypocrite’ ‘hateful’ and ‘unloving.’ Looking at that list, it’s not difficult to work out how much study and critical thinking they’ve put in for themselves on the matter. One can go back hundreds of years and find the same old same old. Yet when we listen to them speaking today you would think all was their discovery and had they not expressed it, everyone else would be in the dark about us! Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him Proverbs 26:12.
The Christian who decides to become a Voice for God fully understands the limitation of his or her audience. Echoes can fill a room; Voices for God can empty it! That’s not the intention, but it is the reality. Jesus made it quite clear from the start, narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it Matthew 7:14. For those who ask, “What about the mega churches?” I ask the same, “What about them?” If Jesus Christ walked into the majority of those places and preached the same word today that they killed Him for back then, they would kill Him again. Truth is not the primary reason for the thousands attending those churches, it is the show, the hoopla and the ever-so-feel-good messages from echoes in the pulpit.
A Voice for God wrote an article for an online news and opinion website explaining from a biblical perspective why he left the church system. Echoes from the system came out of the woodwork to attack him. Unless one leaves the system, I don’t believe one can truly hear from God, get delivered from spiritual clutter and become a Voice for God. Lots of echoes in the system, very few Voices! Echoes in the system certainly hold sway over their members, but only fellow echoes among them, not Voices for God. How can one tell the difference? Echoes compromise and twist the Scriptures to make them fit their politically correct beliefs – man-made climate change, gender change etc. Sin, holiness, righteousness, sanctification – a Voice for God will speak of these.
Echoes in the world system don’t have much respect for echoes in the church system. They use them for their own ends, but just like sympathizers of Communism and Islam, they’re viewed as useful idiots. Pride stops them from seeing the truth of that; however, if they insist on rejecting a Voice for God, whose calling it is to warn them of such, then God will stop them from seeing the truth of it too; not good! And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie 2 Thessalonians 2:11. Echoes in the pulpit with a string of titles before their name and a string of letters after it consider themselves the spiritually elite of Christendom, especially the women. It is not the men who are the driving force of apostasy in the church system.
Just as it was the woman who echoed the voice of the serpent in the Garden, it is the women echoing the same voice today in the system. And just as it was the man who was emasculated back then, it is the men in the system who are emasculated today. Satan looks at their titles and letters and he laughs. He knows those things mean nothing in the real world where violence, corruptions, addictions and perversions rule the day. But when he and his are confronted by a Voice for God it’s a different story. His laughter and mockery, insults and abuses mean nothing to such a Voice; that’s all in a day’s work for him and her. When they open their mouths to speak, all heaven shakes all hell! But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…… Acts 1:8.
Christians who are a Voice for God love echoes from whichever system they’re currently under, world or church. They’re not viewed as loving, but neither was Jesus or Paul the apostle; they and the rest of the apostles were hated. One doesn’t love someone they kill! They were killed because they spoke the hard truths, not because they tickled people’s ears with part-truths or no-truths, as the titled and lettered echoes who claim to represent Christ do today. Few there are who want to hear the truth about our natural selves as God sees us. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies Matthew 15:19. Only the Supernatural Christ is qualified to deal with a heart condition such as that.
Passive pew-sitting people in the church system echo the thoughts and opinions of those in the world system, especially those spewed out daily from academia, journalism and entertainment; “talkers” in other words, not “doers” or “makers.” The latter don’t have the luxury of sitting around wasting time and effort arguing and debating for a new-world Utopia. Common sense already tells them that’s a fantasy, so they’re hard at it doing and making things that are beneficial for the world as best they know how with the tools they have. Where would the former be if it were not for the latter? Take away all the goods and services the world takes for granted and where would we be? One can echo the talking heads all they wish, but that’s all they’ll ever be – echoes!
If it’s true that echoes can fill a room but Voices for God can empty it, why persevere? They do so because God is not into numbers. That’s what we see all through the Bible; not crowds, but remnants; not the significant, but the insignificant. We see that with the smallest of nations, Israel. The same applies for the biblical church. For you see your calling brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things that are despised God has chosen…… 1 Corinthians 1:26-29. No room for pride and smugness there!
And so my fellow Bible Christians, in spite of the forces of hell whose mission it is to pull you down, continue to be a Voice for God, not an echo. God stands at your side and He honors every word you speak on His behalf. You’re the one in possession of spiritual power and authority not the echoes and they know it. Don’t worry about numbers, Jesus wouldn’t hesitate to leave the ninety-nine and go after the one Luke 15:4. Only a few respond to the gospel call in each generation, but that few will turn out to be millions when this age ceases and the millennial reign of Christ begins at His return. Through spiritual eyes, Voices for God have long-range vision, not so, echoes in the world and church systems; they have no vision. Our prayer they desperately need. But blessed are your eyes for they see and your ears for they hear Matthew 13:16.

One of the realities of today is that truth is considered hatred. It will only get worse as the Day of Judgment approaches.
