New Year’s Eve 2017, a US pastor gave a long prophecy. First, “2018, sayeth God, will be known and remembered as the year of death in the United States for the wicked who have been a mouth-piece for Satan and also for false prophets, hirelings and wolves in sheep’s clothing and the lukewarm.” I believe much of his prophecy is accurate, but the good news is we won’t have to wait long to find out if it is or not! Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast to what is good 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21. If his prophecy comes to pass there, in the USA, there will be a flow-on effect to other nations.
I’m sure I’m one of many Bible Christians saying, “Praise God,” for such a prophecy and not because we want to see death come to the wicked (lawless, vicious), but that they would cease being mouth-pieces for Satan. When death comes, we can be sure from God’s viewpoint it did so because they loved evil more than good, and lying rather than speaking righteousness Psalm 52:3. I am convinced the reason there are so many mouth-pieces of Satan in governments, institutes of academia and news media is because there are too many mouth-pieces for Satan standing in church pulpits. Let God deal with the false prophets, hirelings and wolves in sheep’s clothing and the lukewarm first, then see what happens elsewhere.
The primary reason mouth-pieces for Satan in governments, institutes of academia and news media are key promoters of all things evil and perverted is because mouth-pieces for Satan in the church condoned it, first by cowardly silence, then by cowardly corrupting the Scriptures so as to make them say what God never intended them to say. Cursed are the people who do that; death being the ultimate curse! In Old Testament Israel, anyone who corrupted God’s word in such a manner was put to death, some of them dying on the spot. Had the church preached that truth regularly down through the years, its concepts of God and those of the world would be far more accurate than they presently are.
Through the pastor, God said, “I am now taking hold of the reigns of the nations in the earth.” It is a hard Christian heart, dull mind, deaf ear and blind eye that can not see the reality of this. It began with the nomination of Donald Trump for the Presidency in 2015, the downfall of Hilary Clinton against all odds in 2016 and the elevation of Trump to the Presidency against all odds the same year. Again, against all odds, President Trump is coming out on top in spite of almost everyone and everything coming against him. And make no mistake, not only is it mouth-pieces for Satan attacking him, but Satan himself is also in on the act. No matter, it will not be President Trump who’s brought down, it will be the main players coming against him.
More: “The season of men being in charge is over.” One proof of that only, for this post: Jerusalem. The reigns of God have taken hold of Israel and Jerusalem, the city stamped with His name. I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name may be there 2 Chronicles 6:6. In God’s eyes Jerusalem is the capital of Israel; it always has been and always will be. When the Lord Jesus returns to rule the world, He will rule from Jerusalem. All who oppose Him will go. When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats…… Matthew 25:31-46.
Christians who have left your first love were told. “The light of My presence will no longer be in your life because you did not value the presence of the Lord.” For lukewarm Christians, “I am going to withdraw from you this coming year, says the Lord. I have blessed the lukewarm hoping that My blessings would make you love Me more and want to spend time with Me, but you have fallen in love with My blessings instead of Me. I am now going to remove the protection you have had in your lives and over your house and over your families, says the Lord, and when you cry out to Me I will not answer you in that day.” There’s cause to question these statements as coming from God; my prayer is that both groups would “heat up” though, just in case! Revelation 2:1-7; 3:14-22.
One reason I believe much of the prophecy to be accurate: Before reading it out, the pastor graciously told the people who the prophecy applied to and, “if it doesn’t apply to you, don’t apply it to yourself…… I don’t want you to feel there is no hope when you begin to hear this word of the Lord.” In other words, without quoting the following biblical word of the Lord, he made it clear in advance, There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death Romans 8:1-2. On You Tube, one will find prophecies galore but not all are edifying – or delivered with gracious lips and humble hearts!
Encouragement for God’s laborers in the prophecy: “Your labor in My work has not been in vain, but the joy of the Lord shall be in thee as you watch them (new converts) come in (to the church). By the millions they shall come into (churches) in the USA and to other nations and My house shall begin to be called the house of prayer.” Genuine signs, wonders and miracles are not only promised for churches but also in governments and other places of leadership throughout the world. “I have withheld signs and wonders and miracles because the counterfeit church has made a god out of them and sought them and counterfeited them and would not give Me glory. In 2018 there shall be a beginning of the greatest supernatural display of the glory of God that man has ever seen.”
For those among us whose prayer for decades has been that the Holy Spirit would once again release His supernatural, miraculous gifts as He has done in times past, we look forward to this time. We look forward to the day when the deaf will hear, the dumb will speak, the lame will walk, the sick will be healed and the (prematurely) dead will rise. The prophecy makes it clear: Death to the wicked (lawless, vicious), rebirth and life to the righteous. “I’m going to vindicate My Son, Jesus Christ…… And the name of Jesus again will be on the lips of men and women that are righteous…… And the days of maligning God are coming to an end.” Well, that lines up with Scripture. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap Galatians 6:7.
“I’m going to redeem the integrity of My people…… In the house of God it shall be known as a house of integrity.” Amen to that! For too long the valid charge from unbelieving people has been the lack of integrity witnessed in people claiming to be Christians. One way I see God doing that is by removing religious masks, phoney speech and “religious” behavior. Unbelieving people, whilst they too wear masks, are phoney with speech and behavior, they don’t expect to see it in us who claim to be free. If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free John 8:31-32. True freedom only becomes a reality when we allow the Holy Spirit to bring us face to face with our phoniness, plus His ministry of deliverance from it.
“The Lord said I am not going to judge those who have sinned out of weakness; My mercy shall cover thee. I am going to judge those in this nation and in My house who have sinned out of choice and rebellion and have rejected the ways of God….. to those who say there is no God.” Note: the prophecy does not speak to the innocent, the ignorant or the broken. More: “I am setting a fence around godly families and I make a commitment to you…… know that cancer shall not cross over, death shall not cross over, disease shall not cross over, for there is favor upon the righteous in the year 2018.” Question: who are the righteous? Answer: Those who know they are clothed in the righteousness of Christ; those who know they have no righteousness of their own.
So what about those diseases not crossing over to the righteous? Is that Scriptural? Jesus took authority over them; so did the apostles and the believers of old. God still heals today. My strong advice is to seek the Lord about it. But above all, my strong advice regarding this prophecy is to make sure your heart is right before God. How does one do that? Simple: Pray this prayer with all sincerity. “Jesus, You are Lord, I am a sinner. I believe You died on the cross for my sins. I believe You rose again. I believe I am in Your presence right now. Please forgive me.” You ask, is that all I have to do? Yes, that’s all you have to do; the Lord Jesus will take it from there. If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.
