So What’s the Story with this Old Heretic and Fool?

I see yet another “church” representative has come out of the woodwork to bring us the tired old mantra, “The Bible is not the word of God; the Bible contains the word of God.” This time it is being “sung” by a 93 year-old sodomite-sympathizing Italian Roman Catholic priest. Surprise! Surprise! Never mind that the Bible itself says, All Scripture is given by inspiration of God 2 Timothy 3:16. Never mind that the Bible itself says, The entirety of Your word is truth….. Psalm 119:160. Never mind that Jesus Himself told us, the Scripture cannot be broken John 10:35. Never mind that Jesus Christ, the One whom he claims to represent, is revealed in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.

So what’s the story with this old heretic and fool? Why is he telling us this? Well firstly, Roman Church leadership has no problems telling people the Bible merely contains the word of God; Romanists need a “Bible” as such, otherwise the task of getting their people to accept without question their extra-biblical doctrines and Church Tradition would be much more difficult. For example, if one of their own comes to a priest saying, “The Bible says ……..,” his response is always going to be, “Yes, it does, but Church Tradition says…….” That settles it for the Roman Catholic, he or she is not going to give that response a second thought. To do so would mean they have questioned the priest. In their teaching, that’s a mortal sin!

Secondly, the old heretic and fool is a religious sodomite-sympathizer, not just one of the ordinary kind. The latter couldn’t care less what the Bible says about it, but a so-called, “man of the cloth” can’t afford to give that impression; so to say what he did say is the next best thing. That’s how all sin-loving religious devils in “churches” get around Scriptures they don’t like, but pontificate with those that they do! He’s just one of many thousands holding this low view of God and the Scriptures. Like them, it is extremely improbable that he knows God or has ever met God or has experienced anything of His personality, nature or grace. The following Scripture fits him perfectly: Having a form of godliness but denying its power……. 2 Timothy 3:5.

Perhaps they’re not (as yet!) all sodomite-sympathizers, but “church” leaders who claim the Bible merely, “contains the word of God” are sin-lovers! Idolatry is their number one sin – the idol worshiped being self-opinion. For them, self-opinion is god infallible – never wrong, always right! The worship of self-opinion leads to the worship of another god, self-conceit.  The first holds an exaggerated opinion of itself, the second holds an exaggerated opinion of its own qualities or abilities.’ In God’s eyes such people are not only idolaters, they’re proud, arrogant, disobedient, defiant rebels. Stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist (oppose) the Holy Spirit Acts 7:51. God has always had this problem.

The first question to be asked, whether the heretic and fool be old or young, Romanist or Protestant, “If you say the Bible is not the word of God, but only contains the word of God, which Scriptures are the Word of God and which Scriptures are not?” Under no circumstances can he or she give you a Holy Spirit-anointed biblical answer. The second question to ask, “By what standard do you make this judgment?” Then watch for the two gods, self-opinion and self-conceit to manifest themselves, for they most surely will! Church Tradition and doctrine will not be the only things the Romanist appeals to, he’ll do what the Protestant does, appeal to his title, church position, Seminary/Bible College qualifications and on-going theological studies.

Giving the impression he had a Bible in his hand, the pastor started at Genesis 1, read aloud parts of the six day Creation account, the creation of Adam and Eve, their temptation by the serpent in the Garden and their consequent fall from God’s grace. He then ripped those pages out, screwed them up and threw them to the floor saying evolution and science have since proved otherwise. He did the same with the account of Noah, the ark and the flood, and again with the Sodom and Gomorrah account. By the time he’d finished with the first 20 Chapters of Genesis he had painted a graphic picture of how meaningless the rest of the Bible would be, since the rest of it often refers back to those beginnings.

But to further paint the picture, he went through some sin, judgment for sin and damnation to hell accounts, ripped those out and threw them to the floor too, telling us such accounts are inconsistent with a loving God. By the time his 40 minute sermon finished, not only had he shown us by throwing out those pages we’re left with less than half a Bible, but worse, instead of Jesus being exalted as the TRUTH, Savior and Lord, He’s been diminished to that of a liar and a lunatic! And that is exactly what the demonic spirit inhabiting all heretics and fools is on about! Anything to weaken the reputation of the Lion of the tribe of Judah Revelation 5:5, and turn Him into a toothless tiger like themselves; that’s the intent and motivation of these pulpit devils!

Even though he says, “The Bible is not the word of God; the Bible contains the word of God,” the old Romanist, sodomite-sympathizing heretic and fool speaks of the need for obedience to God. Now for a Roman Catholic and the reasons stated above, that’s not a difficulty; to the best of their knowledge and ability they simply obey the teachings of the Church. In doing so, they believe they are being obedient to God. However, for a Protestant sitting under a heretic and fool with the same attitude towards the Bible, how does he get on? No worries! He holds firmly to all the love Scriptures, especially the “Love Chapter” 1 Corinthians 13:1-13. The fact that part of verse 6 tells him love “rejoices in the truth” doesn’t bother him; he hasn’t seen it!

A person who says, “The Bible is not the word of God; the Bible contains the word of God,” can never be obedient to God because they can never develop faith enough to do so. When God’s word says, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God Romans 10:17, the Holy Spirit is making it obvious that His word starts in Genesis 1:1 and it finishes in Revelation 22:21 with no omissions in between. We may not know or understand every word from Genesis to Revelation presently, but that’s not the point; the word is there nevertheless, and according to our Holy Spirit-energized desires to live in holiness and righteousness with God, that’s how we come into the   fuller experience of such.

In reference to the Old Testament, the apostle Paul in the New Testament writes, Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition….. 1 Corinthians 10:11. What things? Things referring to the children of Israel during their 40-year wilderness wanderings in Sinai, recorded in the books of Exodus, Leviticus and beyond. The Bible message is far more meaningful when one understands what was going on back then. They were completely dependent on God and Moses for all their needs, just as we should be completely dependent on God and Jesus for all our needs. The fact is, however, many Christians are not dependent on God and Jesus; self-opinion and self-conceit have pushed them out.

Again in reference to Old Testament writings, the apostle Paul writes, For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope Romans 15:4. Heretics and fools who say,  “The Bible is not the word of God; the Bible contains the word of God,” are extremely unlearned in truths that really matter! As a result they can offer no one any authentic, divine comfort – or hope! That’s why so many Roman Catholics have no hope. Evidence of this can be observed at a Roman Catholic funeral of one who died suddenly. You will observe a demonic spirit of hopelessness running rampant upon many – crying and wailing and immensely fearful for their own eternal future.

Someone is uncomfortable with the words, “fool” and “fools” describing people who say, “The Bible is not the word of God; the Bible contains the word of God.” The Holy Spirit is very comfortable with such use; in the Psalms, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes, we see He uses them frequently. And, if these people fail to humble themselves and repent before they die and stand before God in Judgment, they will hear Jesus Christ using those words against them before He casts them into the lake of fire Revelation 20:15. Every word of God is pure Proverbs 30:5. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart Hebrews 4:12.
