I learned recently of a man who’d been trapped in a cult for sixteen years. The cult leader was a woman, who had so bewitched her group that they believed it without question when she told them she was God; not just a messenger of God or, not just God’s right hand man woman, but God Himself herself! When the woman got sick and died, he got his wake up call. He realized then that he’d been duped and for the first time in years he began to ask questions. Today he says, “My faith is still, I think, strong, but I’m not afraid to doubt and I’m not afraid to question.” The question many ask is, “How could he be so foolish?” Maybe it’s not wise to quickly judge.
This post is not about cults or women claiming to be God, but it is about a woman who claims to be the mother of God. And so influential is this woman in religious circles, even non-believers are afraid to doubt and question the legitimacy of her claims. I speak of the Romanist Virgin Mary … which is never, never to be confused with the biblical Virgin Mary, the true mother of God Incarnate, the Lord Jesus Christ. A word of warning to the Roman Catholic and sympathizer who reads this post. The Bible, being the sole word of God to mankind, applies to you as much as it applies to me. Given that I am commanded to not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God….. 1 John 4:1 means you are to do the same.
Should you fail to test, then you forfeit your legitimate right to criticize or dispute what’s written here. To help you do your test, it is necessary for you to know what the Bible tells you about Mary. In the Gospels, she is seen as a godly and holy woman; one who was highly favored, one who, found favor with God Luke 1:28, 30. Mary was a woman of God, which means she knew God. We know this because she was a woman of the Scriptures, not a woman of religious traditions. The manner in which she recited the ‘Song of Mary’ also known as ‘The Magnificat’ or the ‘Hymn of the Virgin Mary’ shows she had a wide-ranging knowledge of the Scriptures Luke 1:46-55. Nevertheless, in that passage, she acknowledged her need for a Savior Luke 1:47.
Just before Jesus the Savior died, He said to His mother, Woman, behold your son! John 19:26. He was referring to John the apostle, to whom He then said, Behold, your mother! And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home John 19:27. The last reference to Mary in the Bible is seen in the first chapter of the book of Acts. After Jesus ascended to heaven, the disciples gathered in the upper room, and a prayer meeting took place. Mary was among them praying with them Acts 1:12-14. That’s important for you to note. The disciples did not gather to pray to Mary, she prayed with them! Equally important to note: from that point on, there is no further reference to Mary in the Bible.
By the way, after Jesus was born, Joseph and Mary had more children – four boys and at least two girls, making her no longer a virgin Matthew 13:55-56. The fact that the Romanist church dogmatically maintains that Mary continued in her virginity and did not have any more children is in direct contradiction to everything revealed and declared in the New Testament. It must be acknowledged too that it was the Lord Jesus Himself who told us the Scripture cannot be broken John 10:35. That means in His eyes, nobody can legitimately overlook or reject any part of the Bible in favor of their Church Tradition. To say, “Yes, the Bible does say that, but Church Tradition teaches this…,” is to reject the very One whom you claim is your LORD.
When you stand before God on Judgment Day, you will be on your own. No pope, cardinal, bishop or priest will be standing with you holding your hand batting on your behalf. Each one of us will be judged by God according to His Scriptures, not according to Church Tradition. In other words, the word of God will judge us, not the word of religious man. Another important note: Romanist people express extreme anger when confronted with biblical truth. They say we have neither love nor compassion, we don’t understand, we’re intolerant etc. You are going to have to come out from hiding behind all that stuff and get released from your anger. It is a lie and you know it. The LORD has put that knowledge within you and you have to face it just as we do.
Thanks to the Internet, there are books, e-books, websites and videos galore on the subject of Marian Apparitions, many of which can be freely read, downloaded and studied. I’m glad about that because it frees me from having to go into detail about them on this post. Wikipedia describes a Marian apparition as ‘an event in which someone believes the Blessed Virgin Mary has supernaturally appeared to one or more people.’ Even a cursory glance shows us that these apparitions have been going on all around the world for centuries. In the majority of cases, only a few people report having actually witnessed the apparition, nevertheless millions of people continue to flock to apparition sites today.
Apparitions and apparition sites approved by the Romanist Church include: Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Laus, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, Our Lady of La Salette, Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Pontmain, Our Lady of Fátima, Our Lady of Beauraing, Our Lady of Banneux, Our Lady of Akita. Approved by the Coptic Orthodox Church: Our Lady of Zeitoun and Our Lady of Assiut. All of these can be studied in detail by typing the name into Google or by going to Wikipedia … and should something written there not be accurate, there’s still enough information to give you the macro details of what took/takes place. In some apparitions just her image was/is reported, with no conversation. But in other cases, she spoke/speaks.
My concern is not so much about her world-wide appearances; I’m more concerned about what it is she said/says. Well may people be deceived by supernatural appearances of spiritual beings (of which there’s always been many – not simply one woman), but they’ll be doubly deceived by what comes out of that supernatural being’s mouth if that is what their itching ears want to hear 2 Timothy 4:3. In this Romanist Mary’s case, it is what the people want to hear! The fact that what she says is anti-Christ and anti-Bible makes not one scrap of difference to the vast millions of Marian followers and devotees, nor to the upper or lower echelons of the Romanist Church who get to hear about it at a later date.
In her apparitions, Romanist Mary claims to possess all of the Lord Jesus’ distinct characteristics. She claims to be our Mediator, our Intercessor, our Advocate, our Co-Redeemer, and our Suffering Servant. She claims to be sinless, omnipresent, and worthy of our adoration. The Romanist Church agrees with all her claims and just like the man in the opening paragraph once did, Romanists dare not doubt or question. She has given numerous messages down through the centuries, many which her Church does not deny nor discourage from being accepted and embraced – and multitudes have done so. But at this stage, they’ve not received full approval by the church. They’re out there on the Internet for viewing, however.
But here’s a few messages that have received their full approval. “I alone am able still to save you from the calamities which approach. Those who place their confidence in me will be saved.”
“I boldly assert that His suffering became my suffering, because His heart was mine. And just as Adam and Eve sold the world for an apple, so in a certain sense my Son and I redeemed the world with one heart.”
“Jesus wishes to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart” An eyewitness named Lucia at Fatima recalled, “Before the palm of the right hand of Our Lady was a heart encircled by thorns which seemed to have pierced it like nails. We understood that it was the Immaculate Heart of Mary outraged by the sins of humanity, for which there must be reparation.”
“It is for this, that, as Mother, as Immaculate Mother, Mediatrix of all Graces, that I call you to this place, so that my union with you may be more intimate and vital, through the Holy Spirit, permitting you to live deeply in the spirit of the Gospel.”
“The world is degenerating, so much so, that it was necessary for the Father and the Son to send Me into the world, among all the peoples, in order to be their Advocate and to save them.”
“Sons, let yourselves be transformed by my powerful action as Mother, Mediatrix of Graces and Co-redemptrix.”
“I am the Immaculate Conception. I am the only creature free from every stain of sin, even the original one. I am all beautiful.”
“Do not be grieved. I am with all of you even though you do not see me. I am Mother of all of you, sinners.”
Romanist Mary universally proclaims that she is the world’s compassionate, gentle and merciful Mother. She portrays the Lord Jesus as a distant and harsh judge who will not give you the time of day unless you listen to and obey her. Romanist Mary is a total contradiction of the biblical Mary, the biblical Jesus and the very Bible itself. In paragraphs 10 to 14 of my post, God Is Intolerant Of Your Tolerance, there is an extravagant listing from the Bible of the nature, characteristics, attributes, manifestations and ministries of God. Given that Jesus Christ is God Incarnate, the list applies to Him also. Comparing this with the claims of Romanist Mary, one finds the latter to be utterly blasphemous. The true Mary would never entertain such an idea!
Who is this woman claiming to be the Blessed Virgin Mary? In another time, she has always gone by any other name. In Babylon she was known as Semiramis. In Egypt, Isis. In India, Devaki. In Greece, Aphrodite. In Rome, Venus. In Israel, Ashtareth. In Ephesus, Diana. In China, Shing Moo. That’s a few. Be like the man above, don’t be afraid to doubt and question. Do your Internet research and discover the similarities. None of them were God-sent … all of them Satan-sent; the deception goes on. And you haven’t seen the “best” of her yet. If you don’t cry out for the real Jesus, she’ll lead you into the Great Tribulation soon to come upon the earth.
Romanist Mary calls herself Queen of Heaven. Jeremiah Chapters 7 & 44 speak of a queen of heaven too. She’s identified as a false goddess … the people of that day incorporated the worship of this “queen” with their worship of the true God. God called that idolatry and He judged them severely for it! He still does; nothing’s changed. “I am the LORD, that is My name; and I will not give My glory to another, nor My praise to graven images” Isaiah 42:8. “You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only shall you serve” Matthew 4:10. “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus” 1 Timothy 2:5.

Thank you, Roger. I didn’t know about all of this. The more people know and are given the truth of scripture, the better. There is so much deception. Praying for many to question and doubt if they are not following Jesus and His Word.
God bless you as you keep bringing us the Truth of Christ.
Yes, Debbie … spiritual deception is all around us and the only sure way we can be spared of it is to follow Jesus and His word, as you say. Not to do so is to reject the Lord’s authority regardless of how pious and religious one might be.
The Old Testament people are our greatest example of that kind of thinking and behavior … it cost them their very souls and it will cost these people the same if they don’t humble themselves before God during this age of grace.
After the church is removed and the Tribulation begins, some will acknowledge the increased world-wide apparitions they see or hear about as a work of Satan and then take Jesus seriously, but they’ll be killed for it. There’s no time like now to get real. Lots to pray about. Thanks and bless you too.

I also know the truth, So many catholics in confession calling the man behind the screen father who blesses them and gives them penance like reciting several hail Mary’s. The whole process is blatantly anti-Christian yet they continue. When the Catholic church didn’t excommunicate those accused of molesting children I knew then that they are evil incarnate and the mystery woman of Babylon spoke of in Revelations. May God have mercy on those deceived by those Liars. Amen.
Hi JD
Amen indeed, may God have mercy on those deceived – and He will if they’re seeking the Lord with all their heart. The tragedy is as you know, most of them believe they already have the truth and are therefore, not seeking Him. Thank you for reading, JD and for commenting, I pray that God will use it to draw others to Him. Bless you heaps.
Roger
